Soul Deep
This story is a continuation of the breed series. Everyone has a preconceived notion of the coyote breeds, they are the merciless hunters used by the genetics council. This is not the case with Kiowa. He has been asked to keep an eye on the president's daughter. He is certainly unsuspecting that this is his mate. What follows is fast paced and riveting, as he tries to keep her safe from those who would kidnap her. Yes, anything that would keep a bill from passing that makes the breeds responsible for their own future.

I'm not sure that is where your soul is
I liked this book. Very evocitavie. Um. the title gave me a few giggles because of the content of the book. very hot read. it makes way more sense if you have read at least the wolf breed series. But it is a good side story. I hope to see more about the coyote breeds.

OH YEAH!
This was the first book of this genre that I read. When I finished it I did'nt want it to be over. I immediately looked for more books by Lora Leigh and discovered The Feline and Wolf breed series. I have ordered them all and haved enjoyed every one of them that I have read so far! I hope there will be more to come in the Coyote breed series also.

Shame on you Ellora's Cave
The story was good and it was certainly interesting to get the perspective of a "Coyote Breed", since Coyotes are the bad guys in all the other books.
However, (and this is a big "however" for me), I have a serious issue with the packaging of the book. Specifically, this book was published in the Trade paperback format and, accordingly, was priced higher than the other Mass Media paperbacks that make up the bulk of Lora Leigh's Breed books. Why does this matter? Because it is a rip off. This story is shorter than the other books and yet I paid more for it.
I ordered this one without realizing that it was Trade. I later noticed that she has several others (published by Elloras Cave) that are also Trade. It appears that Elloras Cave publishes pretty much everything in the Trade Paperback format. I don't know why they think that it is ok to charge MORE for something that is basically a super-sized short story. If they combined three of these stories in one book, then I'd buy it, but I won't be reading the rest of her Breed series as long as they are only available in Trade format.
I typically read approximately one novel every two days. Consequently I refuse to pay more for a book that won't even take me a full day to read - no matter how good it might be.

Great Book
I found this an incredibly intriguing book. the Coyote Breed is more than a story, it is perhaps, or maybe even probably, a prophesy of the not to distant future. Strange as it may seem, I am a relative newcomer to Lora Leigh's work, but I found this story so absorbing and gripping that I intend to bring myself quickly up to speed.
The sexual chemistry that develops between Kiowa and Amanda is truly electric, and what woman wouldn't lust after such an incredibly alpha male like that. I must admit that my usual reading is the erotic short story genre of which two recent gems I've enjoyed are Violet Blue's Best Women's Erotica 2008 (Best Women's Erotica) and Suzie Van Aartman's 100 Percent Erotica But Soul Deep is a really excellent book which was gripping and entertaining
